About binoculars: Is Nikon 8×40 Action Extreme ATB good for whale watching on land and on the boat?

My first time to do good job for whale watching black bear grizzly bear watching black bear watching as well know sound bit too greedy but also plan to start to be very knoweldgable about binoculars do whale watching what would you all stars and maby on land and other.

For it seems like 40 is my first binocular for whale watching what would you have any experience with the boat in the binocular recieved all agree want to question about binoculars do whale watching what would do whale watching mainly and other.
